We explored the night bazaar market, Matt wanting more food as he thinks he always needs to have at least 3 meals a day and he was behind. We stopped at a little food area and I got a passion fruit, orange and lemon shake whilst Matt searched for more yummy food. We also got an ice cream before we headed back to the hostel, both choosing strawberry cheesecake which tasted creamy but not very cheesecake esque and hardly any strawberry flavour. The market wasn't very busy as there is a special one on a Saturday but it's a bit further out of town so we decided not to go to it. Still interesting though and Thailand is already noticeably different from other countries. It's a lot more modern and developed.

Welcome to Thailand
The bus didn't arrive in Chiang Mai until 3pm which is what we were expecting. It wasn't a bad journey and no problems occurred but we hadn't had the greatest sleep. We stopped at an Internet cafe at the bus station in Chiang Mai to find a suitable hostel but as we were both sleepy we forgot to take down the address. This meant that the tuk tuk driver dropped us off near where we thought the hostel was but we had to get more Internet to find its exact location as Chiang Mai is rather big. Back on track, but still in the heat, we eventually found the hostel and dumped our bags. After that we were both in great spirits and went to find food. It was still quite early but we were super hungry so we stopped at a nice looking restaurant with a sign saying 'no view but tasty food'. The sign wasn't wrong. The food was delicious! I chose a yellow curry with chicken and potatoes and onions but got it mild as spice hasn't been kind to me on this trip so far. It had a lovely coconut flavour and there was a little cucumber and red onion salad in a sweet sauce which I was told to add to my curry. It definitely added to the flavour! Thai food is looking to be super good.
